Even my Chef was surprised.
This baked chicken breast with chips is crunchy, tasty, totally different, and totally awesome!
4 chicken breast fillets
Chips package
Paprika
1 small jar of mayonnaise
3 tablespoons oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Start by preheating your oven to 250°C/480°F.
Wash the chicken breasts thoroughly. Dry with paper towels.
Spread out some aluminum paper foil, first, because this can get a little bit messy - especially if you’re doing this the first time!
Place the cleaned chicken breasts on the foil and sprinkle both sides with a little salt and pepper.
Spread some mayonnaise evenly over each chicken breast.
Break up some of the potato chips, so that they’re in small to medium-sized pieces. Sprinkle these on top of the coated chicken breasts.
Very gently pat down the chips to make cling better to the chicken breasts and mayonnaise.
Now, carefully transfer the chips and chicken onto a baking sheet with the foil paper still underneath. Do it carefully, so that you do not lose your chips.
If you still have enough foil, fold it over the chicken breasts to cover them. If not, add some extra foil over top. This helps to prevent the chips from burning.
Bake for about 25-30 minutes.
Having their favorite food surprise at dinner, you shouldn’t have too much trouble getting your kids to eat some salad and some gently steamed vegetables green beans and carrots with their meal! And it creates great colors at your table.
Baked chicken breast with chips! A nice, crunchy treat for your kids!!
Et voilà, c'est très bon...
