This chicken soup diet recipe is a wonderful treat!
It's for those who love chicken, of course. It's also for those like to watch their figure. (My Chef likes to watch my figure - but that's another story!)
Plus: you also get to create great thin noodles with this recipe yourself!
Trust me - it will be easy!! And fun....there's even more...
If you love chicken wings, you'll love this soup recipe too.
That's because this recipe actually enhances the flavour of the wings. Unlike some other recipes. Overcooked wings are always especially bad.
So it's a winner no matter how you serve it!! Right Chef?!
7 cups of broth made from chicken broth cube
2 chicken wings
3 carrots
2 parsley roots
2 eggs
2 tablespoons flour
Parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
Prepare 7 cups of broth according to the directions on the broth cube box. It's best to use a large pot.
When that's done, add the wings and cook over low to medium heat until the wings are soft.
While all that is cooking, wash and peel the carrots. Wash the parsley roots. Cut the carrots and parsley roots into strips. Add these to the broth.
In a mixing bowl, crack open the eggs. Add the flour. Mix well to form a pounded smooth paste for the egg noodles.
When the chicken broth is hot, pour the egg-and-flour mixture in very slowly.
Use a fork to create thin noodles by pulling the egg mixture in and out of the broth.
Boil for a few minutes. Then set aside to let the soup cool off slightly before serving. Add salt and pepper to taste. Remember to remove the bones from the wings when serving.
This soup is great for a light lunch, or a dinner appetizer.
Sprinkle each serving with parsley.
Like I said before, you'll love this chicken soup diet recipe because it doesn't sacrifice the great taste of chicken!
And it's good for your diet!
