This chicken stir fry recipe is just too good for words!
But if you never try this for yourself, you'll never believe it.
So....
you’ll simply have to try it yourself...
But don't wait: try it. And then let me know what you think!!
4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
¾ cup orange juice
¼ cup white wine
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon chili sauce
1 tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon of sugar
1 teaspoon grated orange
2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for sautéeing)
300 g of green beans
1 red pepper cut into slices
2-3 tablespoons of water
2 cloves of garlic
1 teaspoon of ginger
1 tablespoon of finely chopped parsley
Wash the chicken breasts thoroughly. Dry on paper towels.
Chop into bite size pieces and put aside for now.
Combine the orange juice, white wine, soy sauce, chili sauce, oil, sugar, and orange zest together in a bowl. Mix everything together, gently - then set aside.
Heat the oil in a heavy skillet over medium heat. When hot enough, turn heat to low, and add the chopped chicken breasts. Cook until they're crispy and have a nice golden colour.
Then put breasts aside into a bowl.
Add the green beans, red peppers, and water to the skillet.
Cover, return to medium heat, and cook until the beans are bright green - about 2 to 4 minutes.
Stir in the garlic and ginger and heat about 1 more minute. Garlic should just be getting light brown.
Stir in the orange juice mixture, then add the chicken.
Toss all the ingredients well with the sauce and remove from heat. Sprinkle with parsley.
With this chicken stir fry, you have a choice!
Sides that go great with are either potato puree; rice; or noodles.
It’s going to be your choice, obviously, but any of these will taste great. Believe me!
Of course, my chef will always have a salad and more veggies.
So what will you add?!!
